Description
The Brava elastic hydrocolloid strip is designed to support and level the edge of the ostomy appliance baseplate, providing extra adhesion. It can be used on intact peristomal skin: thanks to its hydrocolloid composition, it has a protective and levelling action. It is available in four different formats: half-moon; rectangular; reinforced and half-moon XL. Single-use product, latex-free and phthalate-free.
Half-moon elastic strip: can be used in normal cases where the baseplate needs to be prevented from rolling up and detaching, when the baseplate is oval/round.
Rectangular elastic strip: can be used for the same purpose with rectangular/square baseplates.
Reinforced elastic strip: can be used on complex abdomens (very large, with incisional hernia, etc.) or where a larger adhesive surface is needed to support the baseplate.
Half-moon XL elastic strip: can be used where a larger adhesive surface is needed to level the baseplate and prevent it from rolling up and detaching, when the baseplate is oval/round, and to increase the user's sense of security and tolerance in case of poor positioning.

Warnings
Reusing this single-use product may pose a potential risk to the user. Processing, cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation may compromise the product's characteristics, which in turn could cause an additional risk of physical harm or infection to the patient. Before application, make sure the products are at room temperature.
The product contains no ecotoxic components and therefore requires no special disposal protocols. Do not discard in the environment, as it is not biodegradable.

Storage
Avoid direct exposure to sunlight. Store the products flat in a cool, dry place. The products must not be stored at temperatures below 0.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
