Food for special medical purposes, intended for the dietary management of patients with renal failure undergoing dialysis. A complete product, high in protein and with high calorie density, enriched with prebiotics (scFOS) to help preserve intestinal function. The amount of some nutrients has been modified to meet the nutritional needs of patients with renal failure on dialysis, for whom the product is intended: more folic acid, less vitamin D, no added chromium, low levels of phosphorus, potassium, sodium and calcium, a high percentage of MUFA and Omega-3 to protect the cardiovascular system, and an exclusive slow-release carbohydrate system to support glycaemic control.

Directions for use
Can be used as the sole source of nutrition or as a supplement to the patient's diet, under medical supervision. The product is ready to use. Shake well. Open the pack only immediately before use.

Warnings
Do not use in people with galactosaemia.

Storage
Once opened, the pack can be kept in the refrigerator and used within 24 hours. After this time, discard any remaining product. Store the sealed pack at room temperature.
