Candidiasis is a vaginal infection caused by fungi of the genus Candida (Candida albicans being the most common). Under normal conditions, Candida is present in the vaginal ecosystem in balance with other species. Under particular conditions (weakened immune defences, antibiotic and corticosteroid therapy, a diet low in vitamins and/or high in sugars and carbohydrates, stress, use of oral contraceptives, underwear that is too tight and/or synthetic) these fungi multiply excessively, upsetting the balance between the species of the vaginal flora and leading to the development of candidiasis. To combat candidiasis it is helpful to restore the balance between species by bringing vaginal pH back to optimal values, thus creating an environment hostile to the proliferation of fungi.
Indicated as an adjuvant in the treatment of vaginal fungal infections. It has a rebalancing and normalising action on vaginal pH that helps counteract colonisation by pathogens. In addition, thanks to its soothing action, it relieves unpleasant sensations of itching and burning.

Ingredients
Semi-synthetic glycerides, boric acid, silica dimethyl silylate, bisabolol, vitamin E acetate, lactic acid.

Directions for use
Remove the pessary by pulling the two tabs of the pre-cut blister and insert it deep into the vagina. Wash your hands before and after using the medical device.
Use one pessary a day, preferably in the evening before going to bed, or as prescribed by your doctor.

Warnings
Do not use in cases of individual hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding (in these circumstances consult your doctor).
No particular precautions are required when using tools, machinery or vehicles.
No interactions with other products are known; it is therefore advisable to consult your doctor before using the product together with other vaginal medical devices or medicines.
The use, especially if prolonged, of any topical product may give rise to sensitisation. In this case stop treatment and consult your doctor to establish suitable therapy. If any other undesirable effects occur, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not swallow.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact, correctly stored packaging. Do not use after the expiry date or if the pack is open or damaged. Medical devices must not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste; ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medical devices no longer in use. This will help protect the environment.

Storage
Store the medical device away from light and heat, preferably at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C.

Pack containing 10 pessaries of 2 g each.
