Description
Medical device with a laxative action which, through an osmotic effect, regulates the bowel naturally.
It is not absorbed and does not ferment in the intestine, does not irritate the mucosa and is eliminated in the faeces unchanged.
It is indicated for the treatment of constipation.
Thanks to its affinity for water, Fisiopax Adults softens the stools, making evacuation easier without causing cramps, abdominal pain or urgency.
Its effectiveness does not decrease over time.
Free from flavourings and electrolytes.

Components
Each sachet contains 10 g of Makropur, a purified macrogol 3350.
Gluten-free.
Lactose-free.
Directions for use
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, Fisiopax Adults should be used as follows.
- Adults: 1 to 3 sachets a day. The dose may be increased or decreased according to the individual response to treatment. In any case, consult your doctor.
The maximum dose needed does not normally exceed 30 g of product a day.
Dissolve one sachet (10 g) in about 1 glass of water (about 125 ml). The product can be dissolved in a liquid other than water (tea, milk, broth or fruit juice).
The daily dose can be divided into several administrations.
Warnings
Keep the device and any prepared solution out of the reach of children.
Do not use the device after the expiry date shown on the pack.
Do not use if the pack is damaged.
Never exceed the recommended doses: in case of overdose, severe pain and abdominal distension may occur. Induced diarrhoea may also occur, with electrolyte disturbances caused by excessive evacuation. If overdose is suspected, contact your doctor immediately.
Do not use Fisiopax Adults for more than 30 consecutive days; if symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
During treatment with Fisiopax Adults, it is advisable to follow an appropriate diet together with an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to avoid dehydration; in any case, consult your doctor.
Gastrointestinal disturbances may occur, especially at the start of use (abdominal pain, borborygmi, diarrhoea or faecal leakage), as well as nausea, mild vomiting, abdominal distension, flatulence, perianal inflammation and irritation; these effects normally improve by reducing the dose.
Allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, have been observed very rarely. Other symptoms of allergic reaction include itching, urticaria and dyspnoea.
If side effects persist, stop treatment and consult your doctor.
Do not use in infants under 6 months.
During pregnancy or breastfeeding, take Fisiopax Adults only after consulting your doctor.
Use of the device is not recommended in case of: intestinal perforation or obstruction due to structural or functional disorders of the intestinal wall, ileus, severe inflammatory conditions of the intestinal tract such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and toxic megacolon.
Do not use in the presence of known gastric or intestinal lesions.
Each sachet is single-use and should only be opened at the time of use.
Do not take the medical device while using other oral devices or medicinal products: the osmotic power of macrogol and the resulting faster gastrointestinal transit may reduce their effectiveness. In any case, consult your doctor before taking Fisiopax Adults if you are on other treatments.
No interactions with medicines are currently known, but the product should be taken at least two hours apart from orally administered medicines.
Storage
Store the unopened pack in a dry place away from direct light or heat sources. Store the device below 25°C.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 36 months.
