What is bacterial vaginosis (BV)? Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is a very common vaginal condition. Normally, various types of bacteria live naturally in the vagina; the most numerous are lactobacilli. Lactobacilli produce acidifying lactic acid, keep the vaginal pH physiologically low and protect the vagina from infection. At this low pH, the growth of unwanted bacteria is generally inhibited. Remove the tab, sit or lie down in a comfortable position and gently insert the neck of the applicator into the vagina as deeply as possible. Gently squeeze the applicator to release its contents. Remove the tube while still squeezing and throw it away. It is best to use Gyno-Canesbalance before going to bed. Wearing a panty liner is advisable, as some leakage is common. This does not mean that the treatment has not worked.
