NASAL HYGIENE
Description
0.9% isotonic saline solution.
Libenar vials are suitable for babies, children and adults:
- for nasal hygiene: by instillation or cleansing (washing) in case of dry or congested nose;
- for eye hygiene: by instillation, cleansing or bathing;
- for ear hygiene;
- for cleaning wounds;
- for inhalation in nebuliser therapy.
Directions for use
Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
Detach a single-dose vial and twist off the top to open it.
The product can be used every day for nose and eye hygiene, 1 to 6 cleansings a day, as needed.
- For nasal hygiene: by instillation or cleansing (washing) in case of blocked or dry nose.
Tilt your head to one side.
Carefully insert the tip of the vial into the nostril and gently squeeze the single-dose vial.
Repeat for the other nostril.
Return your head to an upright position to allow the mucus to drain, then remove the excess.
Do not blow your nose forcefully in the 10 minutes after using the product.
In babies, instil the product applying minimal pressure to avoid any risk of contaminating the middle ear.
- For eye hygiene: by instillation, cleansing or bathing.
Squeeze a few drops of the solution into each eye.
Remove excess liquid with sterile gauze.
Do not let the single-dose vial touch the surface of the eye.
If using another eye product, start with the isotonic vials, then wait 15 minutes before instilling the other product.
The solution can be used with contact lenses.
- For ear hygiene.
By rinsing. For correct ear hygiene, after using a surfactant ear solution, use the product to flush out the dissolved earwax deposits and rinse the external ear canal.
A single single-dose vial can be used for both ears.
Remove excess liquid with gauze.
- For cleaning wounds.
Rinse the wound using all the solution in the single-dose vial.
Remove excess liquid from healthy skin only.
Do not let the single-dose vial touch the surface of the wound.
Ingredients
Sodium chloride 0.9 g, purified water q.s. to 100 ml.
Preservative-free.
Warnings
- For single, personal use.
- After opening: use immediately and discard the single-dose vial after use.
- Do not use the same single-dose vial for different uses.
- Not suitable for injection.
- Do not use after the expiry date.
- Do not use if the single-dose vial is damaged.
- Do not let the single-dose vial touch the eye or the surface of the wound.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- The opened single-dose vial must not be reused: as the product contains no preservatives, reusing it may carry the risk of administering a contaminated solution.
Pack size
25 single-use vials of 5 ml.
