Spironac Nasal Spray 50 ml

Spironac is a hypertonic saline solution in a 50 ml nasal spray, based on sea water and hyaluronic acid, enriched with N-acetylcysteine (NAC). For nasal use only.

How it works

• Hypertonic sodium chloride has an osmotic action that draws water towards the extracellular compartment: nasal mucus becomes thinner and easier to remove.
• N-acetylcysteine is credited with antioxidant properties: it limits oxidative stress in the airways and supports the well-being of the mucosa.
• Hyaluronic acid moisturises and soothes the mucosa, helping to reduce the feeling of a blocked nose.

Composition

Purified water, sodium chloride (3%), sea water (1%), N-acetylcysteine (6%), glycerin, hyaluronic acid sodium salt (0.01%), potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, sodium hydroxide.

Directions for use

2-3 sprays per nostril, 2-3 times a day, or as directed by your doctor. Hold the bottle upright, place the nozzle at the entrance of the nostril and press the base of the pump; repeat in the other nostril.

Warnings

• Use only on intact nasal mucosa and not for prolonged periods without medical advice
• A slight sulphurous smell due to the NAC may be noticed during spraying
• Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. Shelf life after opening: 2 months
