CE 0373 medical device, sterile class I. Sterile, self-adhesive eye pad with a solvent-free adhesive offering high comfort even during prolonged use. Thanks to the materials used, it allows rapid skin transpiration, prevents sweating and has excellent non-adherence to the wound, even when ophthalmic ointments are used. Indicated for dressing the eye and the periocular area. Particularly suitable for delicate, sensitive and irritated skin.
• Adhesive: Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive (hot-melt adhesive whose adhesive properties are activated by pressure). High adhesion. Hypoallergenic. Solvent-free. Latex-free.
• Coating: the adhesive is applied in lines parallel to the short side of the dressing, which helps avoid problems on removal.
• Backing: the new shape of the dressing adapts optimally to the anatomy of the periocular area for excellent conformability. The 100% non-woven backing does not shed fibres or soil the wound. Absorption: approx. 8 g.
