AMINOGAM SPRAY
An aid in the regeneration processes of the gum mucosa.
Aminogam spray is a medical device made in compliance with Directive 93/42/EEC MDD. The product contains hyaluronic acid, the main component of connective tissue, and the amino acids that make up collagen. Aminogam spray aids the tissue regeneration process to promote rapid healing of lesion areas while reducing pain. The special spray formulation allows easy application even to the hardest-to-reach areas of the mouth.
It is a highly biocompatible fluid with a protective action that promotes faster tissue regeneration and, by stimulating fibroblast growth, facilitates the physiological re-epithelialisation of the injured area.
Areas of use.
Oral surgery (protection of surgical wounds and sutures).
Extraction surgery (regeneration of the socket and prevention of post-extraction alveolitis).
Regenerative, periodontal and implant surgery.
Pre-prosthetic and orthodontic surgery.
Major and minor laser surgery.
Orthodontic and prosthetic trauma.
Protection of vital abutments in patients with fixed prostheses and dentine hypersensitivity.
Erosive and ulcerative lesions of the oral mucosa of various aetiology (mucositis, mouth ulcers, ulcerative-bullous lesions such as pemphigus, etc.).
How to use
Before treatment, carry out proper oral hygiene and rinse the mouth thoroughly. Point the tip of the applicator at the lesion areas and spray several times evenly until the entire affected area is covered with a uniform layer. It is advisable not to eat, drink or rinse the mouth for at least one hour after application.
Apply a uniform layer by spraying several times until the entire affected area is covered. Application can be repeated several times a day (three to four) depending on the severity of the symptoms. Treatment can be repeated for 3-4 weeks until symptoms disappear. Use for more than 30 days should be under medical supervision.
Ingredients
Purified water, sodium hyaluronate, glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine hydrochloride, sodium methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, sodium propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propylene glycol, tetrasodium EDTA.
Warnings
The product does not tend to clog the nozzle; however, it is good practice to remove product residue from the applicator by wiping it with damp gauze after each use.
Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to the ingredients.
No overdose phenomena are known.
No side effects are known.
No interactions with medicines and medicinal substances are known.
Although no secondary effects are known during pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is up to the doctor to decide whether to prescribe its application.
Aminogam spray is a highly tolerated product; however, local reactions due to hypersensitivity may rarely occur, and will resolve spontaneously.
The expiry date refers to the unopened, correctly stored product.
Do not use after the expiry date.
Do not sterilise.
Do not use if the packaging is open or damaged.
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the ingredients.
Keep out of the reach of children.
In case of adverse reactions, stop treatment and consult your doctor.
Storage
Aminogam spray must be stored at a temperature between 8°C and 10°C. Do not store in the fridge. Store in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and sources of heat.
