Sterile preparation made of sodium chloride and purified water. The vial is sterile and ready to use, practical to use and keep to hand. It can also be used for prolonged periods as it has no contraindications. The product comes in single-dose vials. It is advisable to use each vial in one go in order to preserve its sterility. The saline solution is indicated:
- in nebuliser therapy on its own, to thin secretions and moisten the nasal mucosa.
- For cleaning the nose in adults with abundant nasal secretions and in children who cannot blow their nose by themselves.
- For daily hygiene of the nasal mucosa, to prevent blockages caused by stagnant secretions.
- To help drain excess secretions in case of a cold.
- It can also be used for external cleansing of the eyes.

How to use
For cleaning the nose: open the sterile vial by twisting the butterfly closure; tilt the head to the left (in the case of a child, lay them on their side, supporting the head with your hand), gently place the tip of the vial against the upper nostril and irrigate generously with the solution. Repeat with the other nostril. Wait a few moments for the solution to act. Remove the secretions with a tissue; in the case of a child, lift them up and remove the secretions with a tissue or a nasal aspirator. Use as often as you consider necessary, in any case following your doctor's advice.
In nebuliser therapy:
Open the sterile vial by twisting the butterfly closure. Open the nebuliser cup by turning it anticlockwise; add the desired amount of solution. Close the nebuliser cup by turning it clockwise and attach the other necessary accessories (connecting tube, mask or mouthpiece); start the treatment.

Composition
Sodium chloride 0.9%; sterile water q.s. to 100 ml.

Warnings
For external use. Not for injection. The product is sterile only if the packaging is intact and undamaged.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat sources.
