BUTYROSE
Sodium butyrate LSC MicroCaps, slow release - EU patent 2352386. Food for special medical purposes based on microencapsulated sodium butyrate. The patented microcapsule formulation with barrier-effect LSC technology is used because sodium butyrate is a very active molecule but with a high degree of dissociation (pKa 4.82), which without protection would not reach the colon/rectum. Intended for the dietary management of people with colon disorders involving altered trophism of the intestinal mucosa.
