Sterile eye solution
based on Hypromellose and Inositol

Description
Hypromellose is a polymer that thickens and stabilises the tear film on the surface of the cornea, creating a protective, transparent and viscoelastic shield.
The Inositol contained in the product may help counteract the oxidising action of free radicals produced in situations of asthenopia and accommodative effort and may support muscle metabolic processes, promoting their contractile response.

Indications
Moisturising and lubricating tear substitute, useful in case of eye discomfort caused by environmental, visual and mechanical stress, including that due to asthenopia and accommodative effort.

Directions for use
1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day or more, as advised by a doctor.

Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or to other chemically closely related substances.

Warnings
- Do not use the product at the same time as topical ophthalmic medicines; if other ophthalmic medicines are used in addition to the product, allow an interval of 10 minutes between the two applications;
- close the bottle tightly after use;
- check that the bottle is intact before use;
- do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the bottle;
- the product is for external ophthalmic use only;
- to avoid the risk of contaminating the solution, do not let the dropper come into contact with the eye or other objects;
- do not touch the surface of the eye with the dropper;
- do not store above 30°C;
- unusable product must be disposed of in the appropriate containers for expired medicines;
- do not use the product more than 30 days after first opening the bottle;
- contact lens wearers should apply the product between one wear and the next.

Side effects
No side effects are known after use of the product. In case of adverse reactions, stop using the product and consult a doctor. Slight, temporary blurring of vision may occur after applying the product.

Inositol, Hypromellose, Sodium chloride, Monobasic sodium phosphate dihydrate, Dibasic sodium phosphate dihydrate, Disodium EDTA, N-hydroxymethylglycinate, Purified water.
