Detoxifying agent ENTEROSGEL Oral suspension Enterosgel oral suspension for internal use is an innovative Medical Device with specific detoxifying properties in the intestine.
Enterosgel is an inert silicon-based hydrogel which, once swallowed, reaches the intestinal lumen, where it forms a distinctive three-dimensional "mesh" structure able to selectively capture endogenous and exogenous toxic substances of various kinds: bacteria and bacterial toxins, antigens, food allergens, drugs and poisons, radionuclides, heavy metal salts and alcohol, removing them from the intestine.
Enterosgel can also absorb various waste products of human metabolism, including excess bilirubin, urea, cholesterol and lipid complexes.
Enterosgel does not reduce the absorption of vitamins or trace elements; it helps restore the balance of the intestinal microflora without side effects on normal gastrointestinal function.
Enterosgel is not absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract and is excreted unchanged within 12 hours of ingestion.

Indications for use
In adults and children as a means of detoxification in cases of:
• acute and chronic intoxication of different origin: from harmful chemical agents, incorporated radionuclides, lead compounds, mercury, arsenic, petroleum products, organic solvents, nitrogen oxides, carbon compounds, fluorides, heavy metal salts;
• acute drug and alcohol intoxication;
• acute intestinal infections of various origin: complex infections, salmonellosis, dysentery, non-infectious diarrhoea, dysbacteriosis;
• suppurative-septic diseases accompanied by severe intoxication;
• allergies to medicines and food components;
• hyperbilirubinaemia and hyperazotaemia.
Composition
70% hydrogel, polydimethylsiloxane, purified water 30%.
Gluten-free.
Method of administration
Enterosgel can be taken directly by mouth, with a tablespoon followed by a glass of water, or first dissolved in a large glass of water and then taken; in any case, take Enterosgel 2 hours before or 2 hours after each main meal.
Dosage
Adults: take one tablespoon (15 g) 3 times a day (45 g).
Children under 5 years: take one teaspoon (5 g) 3 times a day (15 g).
Children aged 5 to 14 years: take one dessertspoon (10 g) 3 times a day (30 g).
For the prevention of chronic intoxication: take 2 tablespoons (30 g) a day or 1 tablespoon (15 g) twice a day for 7–10 days each month.
In severe intoxication: the dosage may be doubled during the first 3 days of administration.
Duration of treatment
In case of acute poisoning, administration for 3–5 days is recommended; in case of chronic intoxication and allergic conditions, administration for 2–3 weeks is recommended. Consult your doctor before repeating the treatment.
Contraindications
Individual intolerance to the product, intestinal atony.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Enterosgel has no contraindications during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Side effects
Possible nausea and constipation.
In severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, a feeling of aversion to the product may occur.
Warnings
If Enterosgel is taken together with medicines, it should be taken at least 1 or 2 hours before the medicine or at least 2 hours after taking it.
