Description
Food supplement based on lactase, useful to support the digestion of lactose in case of intolerance (due to primary or secondary lactase deficiency or congenital lactase deficiency). In the presence of intolerance, gastrointestinal symptoms (bloating, flatulence, diarrhoea) may lead people to follow low-lactose diets, with a negative impact on quality of life and a risk of secondary osteopenia. Oral intake of exogenous lactase improves intestinal absorption of lactose, relieving symptoms, greatly reducing the need for a milk- and dairy-free diet and supporting an improved quality of life.

Ingredients
Fructo-oligosaccharides; Vegetable capsule in hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; Colouring: titanium dioxide (E171); Beta-galactosidase from Aspergillus Oryza (100,000 FCC U/g); Maize maltodextrin; Anti-caking agent: Magnesium salts of fatty acids; Fennel essential oil on silicon dioxide carrier (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.-aetheroleum).

Directions for use
One capsule helps digest the lactose contained in 350 ml of milk. Swallow one or two capsules as needed, one hour before meals. The capsule must be swallowed whole with a little liquid and must never be chewed.

Warnings
Keep out of the sight and reach of children under 3 years of age, to avoid accidental ingestion. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose without medical advice. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one or more of the ingredients. Do not use if the pack is not intact and/or after the expiry date. The product must be taken with every meal containing lactose. Lactose tolerance varies and you should ask your doctor for advice about the role of this substance in your diet.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and heat sources. The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in intact packaging.
