CE 0476 class IIa medical device. Patch with hydrocolloid adhesive able to protect and treat the symptoms of cold sores (herpes labialis). Master-Aid Herpes Patch consists of a hydrocolloid matrix on a polyurethane backing. This matrix has useful properties for protecting and treating lesions and is made of carboxymethylcellulose and konjac gum. These hydrophilic polymers can absorb exudate and maintain a "controlled" level of moisture on the wound. Controlling the moisture of the lesion is a necessary condition for proper healing. Master-Aid Herpes Patch also contains calendula extract, a plant oil with emollient properties that soften the outer epithelium of the lip surface, minimising the discomfort caused by the cold sore.
Format
Modern, pocket-sized rigid plastic case with a small mirror inside to help you apply the patch correctly. The pack contains 15 patches.
