Lithos 30 Sachets

Description
Food supplement based on potassium and magnesium citrate.
It is particularly helpful for people experiencing significant fluid loss, such as heavy sweating, diuresis or diarrhoea, or for patients taking medicines such as diuretics, laxatives or corticosteroids.
Mixed berry flavour.

Tribasic potassium citrate, magnesium citrate.

Directions for use
Take two sachets a day, unless otherwise advised by a doctor.
LITHOS SACHETS should preferably be taken on a full stomach, dissolving the sachet in a glass of water.
For other uses (prevention of kidney stones), follow your doctor's prescription.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
LITHOS SACHETS is contraindicated in patients with hyperkalaemia or hypermagnesaemia, or with conditions that may predispose to these plasma changes. These conditions include chronic kidney failure and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
Taking LITHOS SACHETS at the same time as potassium-sparing medicines (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could cause hyperkalaemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor potassium levels.
No interactions with other medicines are known.
Rarely, mild gastrointestinal disorders may develop during treatment, such as abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhoea. The tablet pack may be particularly suitable for these people.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from light and direct heat sources and sunlight, and avoid contact with water.
The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in its unopened packaging.
