Description
Its small leaves, rolled and dried to be sold, come from Camellia sinensis, a branching evergreen shrub that grows no taller than two metres. The leaves are harvested three times a year: the first in April, the second at the beginning of summer and the third around mid-autumn. Green tea processing begins with passage through ventilated ovens at progressively higher temperatures to prevent oxidation: in this way the leaves keep their colour and produce the infusion with its characteristic pale green colour and slightly bitter taste. Excellent green tea from the Chinese tradition, obtained from organic cultivation.

Directions for use
A tea with a sweet, pungent flavour and a beautiful colour. Drink it plain; perfect with exotic dishes. For preparation, hot water at 70°C-80°C (not boiling) is suggested; leave to infuse for about 3 minutes. Ideal consumption is 1 to 4 cups a day.

Storage
Store at room temperature in a dry place.
