Description
Non-hormonal vaginal gel specifically formulated to restore the physiological vaginal pH and rebalance the vaginal flora.
Indicated in cases of bacterial vaginosis, vaginitis and vaginal yeast infections.
Helps prevent relapses, especially after antibiotic treatment.
Vaginal pH is an important factor for a healthy vaginal mucosa. In a healthy vagina, the acidic environment is maintained by lactobacilli flora, which produce lactic acid. The acidic environment protects against unwanted colonisation and infections. Alkalinisation of vaginal pH causes unpleasant-smelling discharge that can cause discomfort and embarrassment. Candinet Gyno-Balance rebalances the vaginal flora by reducing the growth of bad bacteria in support of the good ones (Lactobacillus) and restoring the physiological environment.
Candinet Gyno-Balance is a vaginal gel based on lactic acid and sodium lactate, which restores and maintains the physiological vaginal pH (<5). Lactic acid helps lower the vaginal pH, thus reducing colonisation by anaerobic bacteria, helping to prevent bacterial vaginosis, vaginitis, vaginal yeast infections and related symptoms such as itching, irritation and unpleasant-smelling discharge.
Candinet Gyno-Balance also contains fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), which have a moisturising action and act as prebiotics, as they are able to promote the growth of lactobacilli strains and not of other pathogenic micro-organisms of the vaginal flora.

Suitable for women of childbearing age, during perimenopause and menopause.
Directions for use
1. Wash your hands.
2. Remove the single-dose tube from its packaging.
3. Shake the applicator to make sure the contents are at its tip.
4. Unscrew the cap from the tip of the applicator.
5. Sitting or lying down, insert the thin end of the applicator into the vagina.
6. Squeeze the applicator reservoir to apply the gel.
7. Remove the applicator and discard the packaging.
Use once a day, preferably before going to bed, for 7 days.
Ingredients
Aqua, glycerin, propylene glycol, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, sodium lactate (1,2%), lactic acid (,1%), fructooligosaccharides, levulinic acid, sodium hydroxide, sodium levulinate, P-anisic acid.
Warnings
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Do not apply to lesions. Do not swallow.
The product is intended exclusively for vaginal use and must not be used by any route of administration other than that indicated in this leaflet.
In case of accidental contact with the eyes and eye area, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for a few minutes.
No data are available on the use of Candinet Gyno-Balance during pregnancy or breastfeeding or in combination with other gynaecological treatments.
Avoid shared use. Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not use the product if the packaging appears damaged.
Do not use after the expiry date. The product has no contraceptive action. The product is compatible with natural latex condoms.
Use the product following the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.
No effects of overdose are known (the product is single-dose).
Storage
Store at room temperature, away from sources of heat and sunlight.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
