IONIC CORNEAL

Description
Soft therapeutic bandage contact lens with a diameter of 14.5 mm (ionic material G-72 HW H2O 72%) in buffered saline solution with Aloe vera. The lens is compatible with the eye drops used in post-operative therapy.
The REGENERA therapeutic lens may only be used under the strict direction of your doctor and optician. The REGENERA therapeutic lens has no refractive function, and two models have been developed: REGENERA therapeutic lens CORNEAL, to facilitate corneal re-epithelialisation after refractive surgery or in the case of abrasions and trauma to the corneal surface; REGENERA therapeutic lens SCLERAL, as an ocular bandage after surgery or in pathological conditions requiring limbal coverage, for wider protection of the ocular surface. The ionic nature of the material allows better interaction with the tear film and optimal passage of eye drops through the lens. The Aloe vera solution in which the lens is soaked has a soothing and anti-inflammatory action, as well as supporting the re-epithelialisation process.

Directions for use
Regenera Therapeutic Lenses are applied like normal contact lenses. They can be worn continuously for a total cumulative period of no more than 30 days.

Warnings
Never use expired contact lenses; use only eye drops compatible with contact lens wear, as some eye medicines can compromise lens tolerability; some medicines (antihistamines, decongestants, diuretics, muscle relaxants, tranquillisers and those for motion sickness) can cause eye dryness, increasing sensitivity to lenses and blurring vision; some medicines can alter sensitivity to lenses as well as the quality of vision; do not use sprays or aerosols while wearing lenses; the REGENERA therapeutic lens is not recommended for anyone sensitive or intolerant to aloe vera distilled water, as this additive is present in the storage solution of the final product.

Storage
Store at room temperature (20°-30° C).
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
