Description
Class I medical device.
Medical device intended for irrigation of the vaginal cavity.
Useful in the treatment of vaginal conditions, including those of fungal origin, as well as in the prevention and treatment of irritation, burning and itching.
It has a soothing and protective action; thanks to its acidic pH, it helps keep the natural defences of the vagina intact, counteracting the proliferation of pathogenic micro-organisms. Boric acid, an acidic component, helps correct vaginal pH, facilitating the natural restoration of the delicate vulvar ecosystem. Hyaluronic acid has a moisturising and lubricating action; thanks to its film-forming properties, it provides a high level of protection.
Directions for use
Vaginal irrigation can be carried out once or more times a day.
1. Shake the bottle.
2. Preparing the bottle: break the seal by tilting it backwards.
3. Insert the nozzle into the opening thus created, applying light pressure at its base.
4. Using the douche: perform the wash by inserting the nozzle while sitting on the bidet, or standing in the shower or bath. Let the douche flow out steadily by gently squeezing the bottle. Do not keep any leftover product for later use. In more severe cases, lubricate the outer part before insertion.
Components
Halobor (hyaluronic acid sodium salt, gamma-cyclodextrins, boric acid), water, glycerin, lactic acid, aloe vera gel, polysorbate 20, Melaleuca alternifolia essential oil, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, mint flavouring.
Warnings
Single-use product: reusing a bottle, its contents or nozzle, or use of the same by more than one person, may make the product ineffective, worsen existing problems and cause problems not previously present. Use the entire contents of the bottle for each application. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not swallow. Read the instructions for use carefully. Do not use the product in case of vaginal lesions or wounds. Do not use during menstruation. Do not use the product if the packaging is not intact. Do not use the product after the expiry date; the expiry date refers to the product unopened and correctly stored. Stop the treatment in case of irritation or hypersensitivity to the product, consulting your doctor if symptoms persist. For pregnant or breastfeeding women and for girls, use of the douche should be limited to cases of real need and under direct medical supervision. In case of an intact hymen, consult your gynaecologist about specific directions for use before using. Do not use in combination with quaternary ammonium compounds. Do not use the product for more than 30 consecutive days.
The Medical Device must not be disposed of in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of Medical Devices you no longer use. This will help protect the environment.
SIDE EFFECTS
Under normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions of use, no undesirable effects specifically linked to the use of the product are currently known. Its compatibility has been tested, but in case of irritation or allergic reactions, stop using it and consult your doctor/gynaecologist. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components. Use, especially if prolonged, may give rise to sensitisation. Should this occur, stop the treatment and consult your doctor in order to start appropriate therapy. It is important to report to your doctor or pharmacist any undesirable effects not described in this leaflet.

Shelf life in unopened packaging: 36 months.
