Description
Ophthalmic medical device consisting of a slightly hypo-osmolar, low-viscosity, sterile, preservative-free solution at physiological pH, containing a combination of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and linear medium-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, in a 10 ml multi-dose pack, with high biocompatibility.
Cross-linked hyaluronic acid has a reticulated molecular structure which, in combination with linear medium-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, provides greater hydration, residence time and lubricating activity on the ocular surface, so as to relieve the symptoms associated with dry eye syndrome.
Indicated to relieve eye redness, dryness and fatigue in cases of dry eye syndrome, environmental stress (dust, allergens, smoke, air conditioning, pollution) and visual stress due to the use of computers, television and screens. The product can also be used while wearing contact lenses to improve eye lubrication and comfort.
Directions for use
1. Break the safety seal of the bottle by turning the cap.
2. Remove the protective cap.
3. Gently press the body of the container and instil 2/3 drops into each eye.
4. After instillation, close the container immediately and use the remaining contents within 3 months of opening.
5. The product is for single-patient use.
6. The product is compatible with contact lenses.
Instil 1 or 2 times a day, or as advised by your doctor.
Ingredients
Cross-linked hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.1%, hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.1%, mannitol, sodium chloride, trisodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, purified water q.s. to 100 ml.
Warnings
For ophthalmic use only.
If necessary, consult your doctor for use in children and during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Before instillation, check that there is no residue on the tip of the dispenser; if present, clean with a damp cloth and let one drop fall before use.
Do not use the product if the pack is damaged and/or the bottle is not perfectly intact.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Wash your hands thoroughly before opening the bottle and instilling the drops.
During instillation, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the bottle.
Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even one component of the formulation.
If necessary, check with your optician that the eye drops are compatible with the contact lenses you use.
In case of disturbances such as sensitisation, irritation or burning during use, stop treatment and consult a doctor. Any ophthalmic medicines should be administered at least 15 minutes apart from the eye drops, particularly products containing benzalkonium chloride or other quaternary ammonium salts, to avoid precipitation of the hyaluronic acid.
Administration of ophthalmic medicines at the same time as the eye drops should take place under the supervision of a doctor, who can assess any possible interactions.
Storage
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, keeping the bottle in its box.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 3 months.
