Description
Food for special medical purposes based on a suitably balanced blend of carbohydrates, mineral salts, fibre (FOS) and zinc, indicated for the dietary management of people with alterations of fluid and electrolyte balance due to acute diarrhoea, vomiting or other situations that may cause increased losses of these elements.

Ingredients
Water, dextrose, maize maltodextrins; acidity regulator: citric acid; sodium chloride, flavourings, fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS); preservative: potassium sorbate; sweetener: sucralose; zinc citrate.

Gluten-free.

Directions for use
In cases of mild to moderate dehydration, in children and adults, take 50 ml of solution per kg of body weight in the first 4-6 hours. At the end of this period of rapid rehydration, take Prereid as needed or as directed by the doctor.
Shake before use. The product is best taken chilled.

Warnings
The product must be used on medical advice and under medical supervision. It is not intended as a sole source of nutrition and must not be administered parenterally. In case of vomiting, take in small repeated doses over time. Keep out of the reach of children.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from sources of heat.
The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in intact packaging.
