TONIMER
Description
Sterile isotonic sea water solution with a slightly alkaline pH, indicated for removing and thinning mucus in the nasal cavities in cases of dry mucous membranes and colds, to promote more comfortable breathing. It contains no preservatives and the propellant (air) is not dispensed as it is not in contact with the product, thus reducing the possibility of allergic reactions.
Directions for use
Press the nozzle for 1 second per nostril. 2-3 applications a day, 3-4 hours apart, for 15 days or as advised by a doctor are recommended.
Wash your hands before use.
1. After removing the cap, children able to use the product on their own (under adult supervision) can use it holding the can at any angle. It is nevertheless advisable to stand over the sink, tilt the head to one side and insert the nozzle into the upper nostril. Press the nozzle for the time needed for the product to come out. Repeat the same procedure with the other nostril.
2. For infants and children who need adult assistance: lay them on one side, insert the nozzle into the upper nostril and press for the time indicated. Then lay them on the other side and repeat the same procedure with the other nostril.
3. After each use, always wash and dry the nozzle and close the pack with its cap.
Warnings
For nasal use. For personal use. Do not use the product if the bottle appears damaged. Do not use the product after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the product intact and correctly stored. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use the product in case of hypersensitivity to its components. In rare cases, temporary burning of the mucous membranes or slight nosebleeds may occur during use, without compromising the safety and effectiveness of the product.
The product should not be used by infants and children unless otherwise advised by a doctor, and its use is not recommended for adults with particularly sensitive nasal mucous membranes prone to nosebleeds. In case of undesirable effects, stop use, consult a doctor and inform the manufacturer. If symptoms persist at the end of treatment, consult a doctor. There are no contraindications to the use of the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding. For infants, use the product only on paediatric advice. Administration of medicines and medical devices for inhalation at the same time as the product should take place under the supervision of a doctor, who can assess possible interactions. In the event of serious incidents related to the use of TONIMER ISOTONIC SPRAY products, report them to the manufacturer. Avoid contact with the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse with water. Keep the product out of the sight and reach of children. Dispose of the device responsibly after use. Pressurised container: may burst if heated. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. Do not smoke. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures above 50 °C/122 °F. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use for purposes other than those intended.
Storage
Store closed, away from heat, in a cool, dry place.
