Profem plus
Balanced food supplement based on plant extracts of: red clover, pueraria lobata (kudzu), soya, chaste tree, green tea, griffonia, enriched with FOS plant fibres (fructo-oligosaccharides), "micro-encapsulated gastro-protected" probiotic lactic ferments, tyndallised lactic ferment bifidobacterium lactis Bb1, naturally rich in zinc, and mineral zinc.
The synergistic action of the plant extracts in the Profem plus formulation is supported by 6 lactic ferments with probiotic action.
The 6 probiotic lactic ferments contained in Profem plus are in "micro-encapsulated gastro-protected" form. The use of this innovative and certified production technique ensures the complete viability of the lactic ferments even during gastrointestinal transit.
The 6 probiotic lactic ferments belong to the bifidobacteria and lactobacilli genera; they promote optimal colonisation of the various intestinal segments, which lasts over time thanks to their high adhesive capacity and the presence of lactobacillus salivarius LS03. In addition, the probiotics lactobacillus rhamnosus LR06 and lactobacillus plantarum LP02 help protect the balance of the microbiota by producing active substances able to counter the proliferation of pathogens, in particular coliform bacteria, among the main causes of urogenital tract infections.
The composition benefits from a new tyndallised lactic ferment called bifidobacterium lactis Bb1, able to release zinc in its most natural and bioavailable form; zinc is a trace element essential for metabolism, whose levels decrease during menopause and, in general, with ageing. Zinc is an essential mineral for rebalancing the functions of a woman's body during the delicate menopausal phase; it contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to normal carbohydrate and fatty acid metabolism and to the maintenance of normal bones.
In addition, the prebiotic plant fibre made up of fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) promotes the optimal development of the microbiota and supports its colonising capacity; FOS reach the colon intact, where they are selectively fermented, creating the ideal micro-environment for the growth of the normal bacterial flora.
Directions for use
Take 1 sachet a day, preferably away from meals.
To promote night-time rest, take Profem plus half an hour before the evening meal.
Pour the contents of the sachet into an empty glass, add a little water at room temperature, stir carefully and take immediately.
