Glycerol 2,500 mg suppositories for adults.
Short-term treatment of occasional constipation.
Moves and lubricates the faecal mass and makes it easier to expel with an emollient effect.

Components
1 suppository contains 2,250 mg glycerol; sodium stearate and sodium bicarbonate.

Directions for use
The recommended dose is 1-2 suppositories as needed within 24 hours.
Remove the suppository from its aluminium wrapper and insert it fully into the anus, pointed end first.

Warnings
Ask your doctor for advice before using this medical device during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation. Do not use the product if the pack is damaged or after the expiry date shown on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children.
The suppositories must not be used in cases of acute abdominal pain or pain of unknown origin.
In particularly sensitive patients or where the mucosa is already inflamed, irritation of the rectal mucosa may occur.

Storage
The suppositories should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from sources of heat; if necessary, hold them under cold water before removing them from the aluminium wrapper.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 60 months.
