Description
Food supplement, a source of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), in the form of gummies with sweetener. D3Base Junior is suitable for children aged 4 and over. D3Base Junior is suitable for supplementing a child's nutritional needs for vitamin D3 when the daily requirement is not met. Vitamin D3 is formed almost exclusively as a result of skin exposure to sunlight. Foods contain only limited amounts, so it is highly unlikely that requirements can be met through a normal diet. Properties
Vitamin D plays an important role in regulating bone mineralisation by promoting the intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphorus. Optimising vitamin D status is therefore necessary to support the acquisition of bone mass that takes place during childhood and adolescence, until peak bone mass is reached, which can be considered the highest level of bone mass achievable during life as a result of normal growth.
Vitamin D stimulates the development of muscle tissue, contributing to the regulation of intracellular calcium levels and to the differentiation and composition of the contractile proteins that make up muscle. Muscle is the main mechanical stimulus for the growth and development of bone tissue, because the load and tension exerted by muscle mass on bone affect its strength and resistance and promote the acquisition of bone mass.

Directions for use
Take 1 gummy a day, chewing until it dissolves.
