Description
Cosmetic gel formula boosted by the combination of azelaic acid, a new-generation retinoid (HPR) and alpha-hydroxy acids. These actives, with keratolytic, bacteriostatic and sebum-normalising properties, help counteract the formation and development of comedones (whiteheads and blackheads), reducing blockage of the pilosebaceous follicles. It keeps the proliferation of Cutibacterium acnes* under control, preventing its pro-inflammatory effects and biofilm formation. Formulated to act on the signs of acne-prone skin and any residual marks, including in adulthood. Recommended as an intensive supporting cosmetic treatment for oily, acne-prone skin.
Tested non-comedogenic.

Properties
Azelaic acid: sebum-regulating, keratomodulating, bacteriostatic. Acts on all components of acne: counteracts follicle inflammation, controls excess sebum secretion, normalises keratinisation, fights the proliferation of Cutibacterium acnes.
Retinoid (Hydroxypinacolone retinoate): normalises keratinisation and helps reduce inflammation. Non-photosensitising.
Glycolic acid: has a keratolytic action on the keratin plugs of the pilosebaceous ducts, reducing comedone blockage and their evolution into papules and pustules.
Succinic acid: keratolytic and antibacterial against Cutibacterium acnes.
Azetrap System: complexed lamellar structure that gradually releases azelaic acid.

Ingredients
Aqua (water), dipotassium azelate, glycolic acid, C12-13 alkyl lactate, magnesium aluminum silicate, succinic acid, acrylamide/sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate copolymer, xanthan gum, dimethyl isosorbide, magnesium/aluminum/hydroxide/carbonate, azelaic acid, tocopheryl acetate, C13-14 isoparaffin, hydroxypinacolone retinoate, laureth-7, trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate.

How to use
Apply preferably in the evening after cleansing. It is advisable to suspend treatment during periods of sun exposure and to use adequate sun protection.
