Indications

Extreme Deet 50% is a spray indicated for personal protection against common mosquitoes, tropical mosquitoes of the Anopheles and Aedes genera (carriers of malaria and yellow fever), and Ixodes ticks (carriers of Lyme disease). In particular, it is ideal for use when travelling, in areas at risk of insect-borne infections, or during outdoor activities.

• Protects against mosquito bites for up to 9 hours;
• Reduces the risk of contracting diseases such as malaria and yellow fever;
• Offers protection against ticks for 5 hours, minimising the risk of Lyme disease.

Suitable for

For adults and children over 12 years, for use in insect-infested areas, when travelling or during outdoor activities.

Directions for use

• Shake the can well before use;
• Apply a small amount of product to exposed skin;
• Spread evenly, avoiding the eyes and mouth;
• Do not apply more than once a day.

Composition

• Active ingredient: N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide (DEET) 50%;
• Other ingredients: Ethanol 50%, co-formulants q.s. to 100 g.

Warnings

• Do not turn the can upside down during application;
• Keep away from heat sources or naked flames;
• Do not use on children under 12 years without medical advice;
• In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water;
• Do not inhale the vapours directly;
• Do not reuse the can for other purposes.

Storage

• Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and direct light;
• Shelf life unopened: 5 years.
