Description
NALKEVIT® MAMMA tablets is a food supplement based on Vitamins and Minerals, indicated in cases of reduced dietary intake or increased requirement of these nutrients. Folic Acid contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy and supports normal blood formation. Folic Acid, Iron, Magnesium, Niacin and Vitamins B2, B6, B12 and C contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin. Copper contributes to normal iron transport in the body. Vitamin C increases iron absorption. Folic Acid, Iron, Zinc and Vitamins B12 and D have a role in the process of cell division. Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption/utilisation of Calcium and Phosphorus. Calcium has a role in the process of cell division and specialisation. Supplemental Folic Acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. The target population is women of childbearing age, and the beneficial effect is obtained with a supplemental Folic Acid daily intake of 400 mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.

Directions for use
1 tablet a day, with water.

Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Product intended for adults. Due to the nature of the ingredients, the product may vary in appearance from batch to batch: this does not affect its quality. Neural tube defects have multiple risk factors, and changing one of these factors may not have a beneficial effect. Store in a cool, dry place. The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in unopened packaging.
