Description
Valeriana Canapa RELAX
Herbal formula based on valerian root boosted with hemp seed powder, developed to promote relaxation on several levels and support physiological night-time rest, even in times of stress. Valerian is a valuable aid for restoring calm, reducing anxiety and improving sleep quality, while hemp supports the maintenance of correct cellular function, useful for an effective response to anxiety and stress. The high concentration of the functional ingredient promotes optimal sleep when taken before bed, while during the day it helps restore calm when anxious situations arise.
Properties
Valerian: its roots contain an essential oil with an antispasmodic effect, made up of numerous elements including: sesquiterpenes, specific iridoids called valepotriates, valerenic, hydroxyvalerenic and acetoxyvalerenic acid, borneol esters including bornyl acetate and isovalerate, aldehydes such as valerenal and ketones such as valeranone.
Valerian as a whole also has a hypotensive action, and the most active compounds appear to be valerenic acid, with an antispasmodic action, and valeranone, with anticonvulsant, hypotensive and sedative activity. Its relaxing action on the gastrointestinal muscles is traditionally used for intestinal well-being. Valerian is traditionally used to promote relaxation in case of nervousness and stress. It does not interfere with normal functions or lead to dependence. The root does not appear to prevent or impair driving or operating machinery, nor does it appear to cause drowsiness as a side effect.
Cannabis sativa: it does not contain delta-6-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychotropic component of the plant, except in traces below 1 ppm. The use of superfood hemp seeds in this formulation is linked to their high content of biologically active nutrients, involved in metabolic cycles that can be affected by a lack of these components in case of psychophysical fatigue. Hemp seeds are an excellent source of nutrients, particularly thanks to their content of essential amino acids and unsaturated fatty acids, present in the right ratio for dietary requirements. They contain high levels of L-arginine.
As well as essential amino acids and fatty acids, hemp seeds contain other bioactive and protective compounds that contribute to their health benefits, such as polyphenols and lignanamides. They are also an excellent source of minerals and vitamins. Minerals such as calcium, iron and phosphorus help counter tiredness, increasing energy production and supporting the body's well-being. Magnesium supports the relaxing action. Vitamin B1 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and nervous system function, vitamin B2 is involved in the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and vitamin B6 contributes to normal psychological function.
