Description

What are Connettivina Hitech 8 x 12 cm plasters (4 pieces)?

For small cuts or abrasions you can try Connettivina 8x12 cm plasters for self-care. This is a plaster soaked in a hyaluronic acid solution, indicated for protecting and moisturising wounds. Thanks to its active ingredients it not only protects against external agents that could cause infection and contamination, but also supports healing and scab formation. By allowing the skin to breathe it shortens healing time, allowing a new layer of skin to form and the scar to fade.

What are the main benefits of Connettivina Hitech 8 x 12 cm plasters (4 pieces)?

Connettivina plasters are specific products for damaged skin that can

  • Deeply moisturise the skin layers without greasiness or marks
  • Soothe irritation and the painful sensation caused by the wound
  • Protect against harmful external agents such as viruses, bacteria and dirt
  • Resist water

How do Connettivina Hitech 8 x 12 cm plasters (4 pieces) work?

The action of these plasters is made possible by

  • Hyaluronic acid, a molecule naturally present in our body, the lack of which leads to skin ageing, even premature ageing. It is a molecule produced by fibroblasts, cells whose purpose is to hydrate tissues, giving them firmness and plasticity.
  • Glycerin, which in cosmetics is one of the most widely used substances to moisturise and protect the skin, especially in winter. Also excellent for hair care.
  • Lactic acid to regulate the pH
  • Polyurethane, the material the plaster is made of: pliable, elastic and soft, it easily adapts to the natural creases of the skin, remaining comfortable without the risk of coming off.

How to use

Wash your hands before applying the dressing, then start by disinfecting the area and allowing any moisture to evaporate. Open the aluminium pouch containing the adhesive dressing by pulling the tabs, and remove the dressing. The dressing has a blue adhesive side A and a white outer side B. Now remove the two flaps of the blue protective film from adhesive side A and apply it to the wound, making sure that the part soaked in solution covers the entire wound. As far as possible, press on the plaster to make it adhere well, trying not to create creases. Finally, remove the two flaps of the white protective paper from outer side B, pulling them from the centre towards the edges. This dressing should be changed every 48 hours. It is preferable not to use it continuously for more than 30 days. If in doubt, including about the extent of the wound, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Conclusions

For minor cuts or wounds you can use Connettivina plasters, which are particularly recommended because they keep the treated area moist, allowing the skin to repair and heal on its own. They are also recommended for children's cuts or burns, provided they are not under 3 years of age.
