Description

The Safety oropharyngeal swab with tube is a sterile device for collecting samples from the mucosa of the oral cavity and pharynx, useful for detecting the presence of pathogenic microorganisms and, where appropriate, establishing the most suitable treatment.

The cotton-tipped stick, kept inside a sterile tube, is gently passed over the tonsils and the back of the pharynx to collect cells and exudate. The tube maintains a sterile environment until laboratory analysis.
