Description
The ergonomic, symmetrical, flat and elongated shape of the Chicco Physio silicone teat makes it easier for the baby to accept, supporting the peristaltic movement of the tongue during feeding.
The Chicco Physio silicone teat adapts perfectly to the baby's mouth and respects the natural sucking movement. Made of extra-soft silicone, the Chicco Physio teat closely mimics the mother's breast, giving the baby a comfortable sensation that makes acceptance easier. Directions for use
Before first use, disassemble and clean the product, then immerse the components in boiling water for 5 minutes to ensure hygiene. Before each subsequent use, wash carefully with hot water and washing-up liquid and rinse thoroughly to ensure hygiene. Inspect the teat before each use and pull it in all directions. To ensure the teat works properly, gently massage the valve at the base of the teat with your fingers before each use. Do this gently, taking care not to damage the valve. Do not leave it immersed in disinfectant for longer than recommended, or the material may weaken. Check that the flow suits the baby's needs, watching for any difficulty sucking or milk escaping from the mouth.
Cleaning and sterilisation
Wash all components by hand in hot water with ordinary washing-up liquid. Washing in the dishwasher may accelerate wear of the product. Always rinse all components thoroughly after each wash. Do not use abrasive products or wash with harsh chemical solvents. When using bottle brushes, take care not to damage the more delicate parts of the product. Thoroughly clean under running water any residual liquid that may collect in hidden areas. Sterilise before use. After each wash or sterilisation, drain off any remaining liquid. After cleaning, dry all components thoroughly and store them in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Pigments from strongly coloured drinks may alter the colour of the product. This does not affect the product's functionality and/or safety. The product can be cold sterilised using sterilising solutions, or hot sterilised (steam) using suitable appliances or by boiling for 5 minutes, avoiding contact with the metal walls of the container used. The use of ultraviolet (UV) sterilisers is recommended.
The product can be sterilised in an autoclave with 15-minute cycles at 121°C using distilled water; no additives are needed. Do not exceed 30 sterilisation cycles.
Warnings
Replace at the first sign of wear or damage. In any case, it is advisable to replace the teat at least every two months. Do not leave the teat exposed to direct sunlight or heat. Continuous and prolonged sucking of liquids can cause tooth decay. Always check the temperature of the food before feeding the baby. Keep all components not in use out of the reach of children. Never attach to cords, ribbons, laces or loose parts of clothing. The child could be strangled. Never use feeding bottle teats as a soother. Always use this product under adult supervision. Do not heat the product in conventional ovens, on hot plates or over open flames.
