Description Food for special medical purposes, intended for the dietary management of infants with cow's milk or soy protein allergy. BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 is suitable for feeding infants from birth to 12 months of age.
The BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 formulation has reduced allergenic potential, as its entire protein content consists exclusively of enzymatically hydrolysed rice proteins (EU and non-EU origin), which promote better digestibility and tolerability.
BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 is suitable as the sole source of nutrition for infants from birth to 6 months of age if they are not breastfed. From 6 months, or in any case from the start of weaning, BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 is suitable for inclusion in a diversified complementary diet. Weaning should only begin under the supervision of a paediatrician.

Directions for use Preparing the bottle:
- before preparation, wash and dry your hands thoroughly and sterilise the bottle, teat and ring.
- boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle at a temperature of 70 °C;
- fill the scoop with level, unpacked powder;
- add the prescribed number of level scoops of powder to the bottle;
- close the bottle and shake to dissolve the powder;
- before feeding the infant, check the temperature on the back of your hand; the temperature of the product must not exceed 37 °C;
- after use, wash and dry the scoop thoroughly.

One level scoop of BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 corresponds to 4.8 g, equal to 24.1 kcal.
BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 is reconstituted at 13.5% by adding one level scoop of powder to every 30 ml of water.
Warnings - Breast milk is the best food for infants and should be encouraged and continued for as long as possible. If breastfeeding is not possible or sufficient, the infant should be fed with a food suited to their needs, on the advice of a paediatrician.
- BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 must not be administered parenterally.
- BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 must only be used under medical supervision.
- Inappropriate preparation and storage may cause disorders or health risks for the infant. Follow the instructions carefully.
- Prepare the product only at feeding time and consume it within two hours.
- Do not reheat or boil the product once prepared.
- Do not reuse any product left over after the feed.
- Only use the scoop contained in the pack.
- The product is packaged in a protective atmosphere.
- Once opened, the pack must be closed properly and stored in a dry place away from heat sources (not in the fridge); the product must be consumed within 3 weeks of opening.
