EVIVA DROPS
Description
Preservative-free, sterile, protective, lubricating ophthalmic solution based on ERISnp, a special formulation with a high concentration of polyphenols derived from perilla extract and liposomes, combined with hyaluronic acid, which provides a moisturising effect.
It gives immediate and long-lasting relief.
The formula protects the eye tissues, supporting the physiological antioxidant mechanisms (polyphenols) and restoring both the aqueous component (hyaluronic acid) and the lipid component (liposomes) of the tear film, for the management of dry eye symptoms.
For contact lens wearers: instilling Eviva Drops before inserting contact lenses makes application easier by improving their wettability; instilling it after insertion also makes them more comfortable to wear, counteracting the feeling of dryness and possible eye complications.
Eviva Drops is a slightly hypo-osmolar, slightly viscous, sterile solution at physiological pH, free from preservatives, and is also suitable for frequent and prolonged use.
Directions for use
Instil 1 or 2 drops into each eye 3-4 times a day or as advised by your doctor
Components
ERISnp (high-concentration polyphenols >2.5% from Perilla frutescens extract 0.15% and liposomes), sodium hyaluronate 0.25%, sodium chloride, anhydrous dibasic sodium phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, purified water q.s. to 100.
Preservative-free.
Warnings
- The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
- Once opened, the container must be closed again with its cap, and the solution must be used within 3 months of opening the bottle.
- Before instilling, check that there is no residue on the dispenser opening; if there is, clean with a damp cloth and let one drop fall before use.
- Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or if the bottle is not perfectly intact.
- Do not tamper with or damage the dropper and the dispensing opening for any reason, as this could compromise the sterility of the product.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before opening the bottle to administer the drops.
- When instilling, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the bottle.
- Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even one component of the formulation. If necessary, check with your optician that the eye drops are compatible with the contact lenses you use.
- If discomfort occurs during use, stop treatment and consult a doctor.
- Any ophthalmic medicines should be administered at least 15 minutes apart from instilling the eye drops, especially products containing benzalkonium chloride or other quaternary ammonium salts, to avoid precipitation of the hyaluronic acid.
- Administration of ophthalmic medicines at the same time as the eye drops should be carried out under the supervision of a doctor, who can assess possible interactions.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the pack.
- Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources and direct sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Shelf life in unopened pack: 24 months.
Shelf life after opening: 3 months.
