Description Food for special medical purposes based on extensively hydrolysed caseins, indicated for the dietary management of cow's milk protein allergy in children from 1 year of age onwards. The formula is lactose-free and contains the probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG).
Nutramigen 3 LGG provides all the nutrients the child needs as part of a balanced, varied diet.

Directions for use Add one level, unpacked scoop (4,5 g) to every 30 ml.
1. Wash your hands thoroughly. Wash bottles, teats, caps and utensils and boil them in water for 1 minute.
2. Boil fresh water and let it cool to room temperature before starting preparation. Pour the correct amount of cooled water into the clean bottle or a cup.
3. Add the correct amount of powder to the water using the scoop. Keep the scoop dry in the tin.
4. Close the bottle, roll it between your hands and then shake it vigorously until the powder has completely dissolved. If using a cup, stir until the powder has completely dissolved and the mixture is uniform. Check the temperature on the inside of your wrist.
5. Once prepared, the product deteriorates quickly. Feed immediately after preparation, otherwise cover the feed and store it in the refrigerator at 2-4 °C for no longer than 24 hours.
Warnings Do not freeze prepared formula and do not use it if it has been out of the refrigerator for more than 2 hours. Use any feed that has been in contact with the child's mouth within 1 hour and do not return it to the refrigerator. Discard any leftover product in the bottle or cup.
For the child's health, follow the instructions for preparation and use carefully. Hygiene, preparation, dilution and storage are important when preparing the formula. Do not use a microwave oven to heat the feed. Failure to follow these instructions may seriously harm health. Not for parenteral use.
Breast milk is the ideal food. Must be used under medical supervision. Consult your paediatrician about adding suitable foods to the child's diet.
Storage Store the tin in a cool, dry place. Close the pack tightly after use, store it in a dry place and use the contents within 1 month of first opening. Do not freeze the powder and avoid exposure to excessive heat.
