Description
Medical device based on cytoprotective and moisturising plant extracts, formulated to counteract the symptoms of gastric mucosa irritation: pain, burning and a feeling of acidity.
Xanacid works by forming a barrier that protects the mucosa from attack by gastric juices.
Thanks to the Xanacid plant complex and hyaluronic acid, the medical device has a soothing and protective action on the mucosa and also helps counteract gastro-oesophageal reflux.

Ingredients
Water, Xanacid [plant polysaccharide complex based on aloe vera gel, Althaea officinalis (root), Malva sylvestris (leaves)], Emblica officinalis (fruit), chamomile (flower heads), sodium hyaluronate, bilberry juice; preservatives: potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate; flavouring; acidifier: citric acid; sweetener: sucralose.

Gluten-free.

How to use
Take 1 stick pack, as it is, after main meals. In case of gastro-oesophageal reflux, take 1 stick pack after main meals and one before going to bed. Intake can be repeated several times a day, even at short intervals, if necessary.

Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children.
Xanacid can also be used as prevention on occasions that may lead to mucosal irritation: during periods of intense stress, or in case of a poor diet.
Xanacid has a mechanical, non-pharmacological action, so it can be taken together with medicines for hyperacidity and is also safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
No interactions with pharmaceutical active ingredients are known. Before use, check that the medical device shows no signs of tearing or wear. If so, stop using it.
The use of Xanacid is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources. The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in its unopened pack.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 36 months.
