GLYCEROL
Description
Single-use medical device in suppository form based on glycerol, indicated to facilitate bowel evacuation in case of constipation.
Glycerol has a mechanical laxative action: it draws water into the stools, softening them and stimulating peristalsis and bowel evacuation.
Indicated for the short-term treatment of occasional constipation.
Directions for use
Remove the wrapper by separating its two edges and take out the suppository. If the suppositories appear softened, immerse the wrapper in cold water before opening it. Insert the suppository into the rectum, pointed end first. Wash your hands after inserting the suppository.
1 suppository as needed, up to a maximum of 1 or 2 administrations a day.
