CLARASTILL
Eye drops
Description
Medical device.
Sterile aqueous solution of 0.3% carboxymethylcellulose for use on the ocular tissues for its protective, eutrophic, moisturising and lubricating action.
Thanks to the antioxidant and free-radical-scavenging properties of its components, the device protects the ocular tissues (lens, cornea, conjunctiva) from the consequences of oxidative stress due to unfavourable environmental factors (mechanical stress from contact lenses, sun exposure, smoke, dust, air conditioning, computer radiation) and helps restore their natural epithelial trophism.
Perfectly clear and miscible with water (and with tear fluid) in all proportions, it does not form insoluble precipitates with metal salts or with organic residues that may be present in the tear fluid; its pH and osmolarity are fully compatible with the ocular tissue and the tear fluid, so it is highly tolerable.
Directions for use
Instil 1-2 drops of clarastill solution into the lower conjunctival fornix of the eye, applying light pressure to the body of the bottle. This can be repeated several times a day, as needed.
