Description
Eye drops for red eyes.
Provides relief from redness, irritation, burning, itching and a foreign body sensation, and following watering and tiredness caused by factors such as exposure to wind and sunlight, dust, smog, smoke, dry heat, air-conditioned environments, prolonged time in front of screens and the use of contact lenses. Isomar Occhi contributes significantly to soothing the discomfort caused by pollen coming into contact with the conjunctiva, helping to relieve allergic symptoms. Isomar Occhi helps in cases of dry eye and can be used with any type of contact lens. For a greater lubricating and soothing action, instilling Isomar Occhi before inserting the lenses is recommended.
The medical device is intended for users without specialist knowledge, following the instructions for use provided by the manufacturer. The medical device is intended for use in a home environment. The user is provided with all the information necessary for correct and safe use of the device.
Directions for use
1-2 drops per eye every 4/5 hours. It is advisable to alternate treatment cycles with 7-day breaks. Each cycle should not exceed 30 days of treatment.
For correct use of the single-dose vials, follow these instructions:
- open the protective pouch and detach a single-dose vial;
- open the single-dose vial by twisting the cap until it comes off;
- tilt your head back and, gently holding down the lower eyelid with a finger, instil 1-2 drops of solution into the conjunctival sac every 4-5 hours;
- close the eye for a few seconds.
After first opening, the vial can be closed again with its cap and the remaining eye solution can be used within the following 12 hours. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated in the other eye.
Ingredients
Purified water, *sea water (28-30%), Jacobaea maritima extract (0,01%), Calendula officinalis flower water (0,1%), Centaurea cyanus flower water (0,1%), Helichrysum italicum flower water (0,1%), Euphrasia officinalis flower/leaf/stem water (0,1%), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (0,2%), sodium hyaluronate (0,2%).

Warnings
The medical device is not suitable for people with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formulation. Read the information provided by the manufacturer carefully before use. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Stop treatment if any undesirable effect occurs. Do not use at the same time as other topical treatments. Do not swallow. The product is intended for ophthalmic use only. Do not pierce or tamper with the packaging. Do not use the product if the packaging is open or damaged. Do not use after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored. The product is intended for adult patients. There are no specific data on the use of the product in children and pregnant women. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the solution and do not touch the tip of the dispenser with your hands. When administering the solution, do not touch the conjunctival membrane with the tip of the vial.
The solution is preservative-free, so it must be used within 12 hours of first opening. For correct storage, close the vial properly after each use. Do not dispose of the vial in the environment after use. In the event of a serious incident related to the medical device, report it immediately to the manufacturer and to the Competent Authority of the Member State in which the incident occurred.
Storage
Store in the carton, in a dry place, away from light and heat, at a temperature between 5°C and 25°.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
