Description
Eye drops for red eyes.
Provides relief in case of redness, irritation, burning, itching and foreign body sensation, and following watering and eye strain caused by factors such as exposure to wind and sunlight, dust, smog, smoke, dry heat, air-conditioned environments, prolonged time in front of screens and contact lens wear. Isomar Occhi helps significantly to soothe the discomfort caused by contact of pollen with the conjunctiva, helping to relieve allergic symptoms. Isomar Occhi helps in cases of dry eye and can be used with any type of contact lens. For a greater lubricating and soothing action, it is advisable to instil Isomar Occhi before inserting the lenses.
The medical device is intended for users without specialist knowledge, following the instructions for use provided by the manufacturer. The medical device is intended for use in a home environment. The user is provided with all the information necessary for correct and safe use of the device.
Directions for use
For correct use of the product, follow these instructions:
- open the pack and, at first use, remove the protective seal and the cap;
- tilt your head back and hold the bottle upside down over the eye;
- gently pull down the lower eyelid with a finger and gradually increase the pressure of your fingers on the bottle until a drop forms;
- instil 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac every 4-5 hours;
- close the eye for a few seconds;
- close the bottle immediately after use. The solution can be reused within 6 months of first opening. If necessary, repeat in the other eye.
The cap used for Isomar Occhi is specially designed to ensure the sterility of the product during use and optimal dispensing; it is advisable not to squeeze the closed bottle hard, to prevent drops escaping from the cap grid. As the solution in the bottle runs out, it may be necessary to apply more pressure.
Ingredients
Purified water, *sea water (28-30%), Jacobaea maritima extract (0.01%), Calendula officinalis flower water (0.1%), Centaurea cyanus flower water (0.1%), Helichrysum italicum flower water (0.1%), Euphrasia officinalis flower/leaf/stem water (0.1%), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (0.2%), sodium hyaluronate (0.2%).

Warnings
The medical device is not indicated for people with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients in the formulation. Read the information provided by the manufacturer carefully before use. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Stop treatment if any side effect occurs. Do not use at the same time as other topical treatments. Do not swallow. The product is intended for ophthalmic use only. Do not pierce or tamper with the pack. Do not use the product if the pack is open or damaged. Do not use after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the product in its unopened pack, correctly stored. The product is intended for adult patients. There are no specific data on the use of the product in children and pregnant women. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the solution and do not touch the tip of the dispenser with your hands. When administering the solution, do not touch the conjunctival membrane with the tip of the bottle.
The solution is preservative-free and must therefore be used within 12 hours of first opening. For correct storage, close the bottle properly after each use. Do not dispose of the bottle in the environment after use. In the event of a serious incident in connection with the medical device, report it immediately to the manufacturer and to the Competent Authority of the member state in which the incident occurred.
Storage
Store in the carton, in a dry place, away from light and heat, at a temperature between 5°C and 25°C.
Shelf life in unopened pack: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 6 months.
