Description
Low-protein pasta.
Food for special medical purposes.
For the dietary management of chronic kidney failure or other conditions requiring a low-protein diet. In case of chronic kidney failure, a diet with reduced sodium, potassium and phosphorus intake is recommended.

Ingredients
Maize starch, potato starch, rice starch, thickener: cellulose; chicory inulin, emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; rice flour, safflower extract, colour: beta-carotene.

May contain soya.
Gluten-free.

How to use
Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling water for 8-10 minutes (about 2 litres of water per 80 g of pasta; salt the water as medically prescribed), stirring regularly.

Warnings
To be used under medical supervision.
Not suitable as the sole source of nutrition.
For patients on levodopa therapy, the degree of any dysphagia and any undernutrition issues that may arise under protein restriction should be assessed.
Suitable for children over three years of age.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place.
Shelf life unopened: 24 months.
