Seresto 70 cm Dogs over 8 kg

Seresto is an antiparasitic collar for dogs weighing more than 8 kg. Each 70 cm collar (45 g) gradually releases its two active ingredients, imidacloprid (4.5 g) and flumethrin (2.03 g), belonging to the class of ectoparasiticides and pyrethroids in combination.

The collar acts against flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis and C. canis) for 7-8 months and limits the development of flea larvae in the animal's surroundings for 8 months. Also for 8 months, it maintains an acaricidal and repellent action against ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Dermacentor reticulatus), active on larvae, nymphs and adults. It is also indicated against biting and chewing lice (Trichodectes canis) and can be part of a strategy to control Flea Allergy Dermatitis.

How to use and warnings

Ticks already present at the time of application may remain attached: it is advisable to remove them before fitting the collar. Protection against new infestations is established within two days of application. Do not use on puppies under 7 weeks of age or on animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or excipients (titanium dioxide, black iron oxide, dibutyl adipate, propylene glycol dicaprylocaprate, epoxidised soybean oil, stearic acid, polyvinyl chloride).
