Luxfluires Aerosol Solution 20 Ampoules 5 ml

Luxfluires Aerosol Solution is a sterile hypertonic saline solution based on N-acetylcysteine, intended for nebulisation with aerosol therapy devices. Nebulised into the airways, it acts locally: N-acetylcysteine in hypertonic solution helps decongest the airways, helping to thin mucus and make it easier to cough up. The formula is completed by hyaluronic acid sodium salt.

How to use

Children from 2 years and adults: 1 single-dose ampoule per nebulisation session, 1 to 2 times a day for 5-10 days. The solution can be nebulised with either piston devices (preferred) or ultrasonic devices. Wash your hands before and after use. Bend the ampoule in both directions to detach it from the strip, shake it gently and open it by twisting the tab; apply moderate pressure to the sides to pour the solution into the device's nebuliser cup, then nebulise using a mask, nasal fork or mouthpiece as directed by your doctor. Any changes to the dose and duration of treatment must be decided by a doctor only.

Components

N-acetylcysteine (6%), hyaluronic acid sodium salt, disodium EDTA, sodium phosphate monobasic dihydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic dihydrate, sodium hydroxide, water.

Contraindicated in children under 2 years of age and in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components. Do not use if you are taking cough suppressants, as the simultaneous reduction of the cough reflex may lead to a build-up of mucus in the bronchi. Store in a cool, dry place, away from sources of heat and below 25 °C. Pack size: 20 single-dose 5 ml ampoules.
