Hyalo4 Care Cream 100 g

Hyalo4 Care Cream by Fidia Farmaceutici is a topical preparation whose main component is hyaluronic acid, a biological polysaccharide belonging to the glycosaminoglycan family, naturally present in the extracellular matrix of many tissues. Thanks to its hydrophilic properties it creates a hydrated space around and between cells, a condition that facilitates cell migration. The Hyalo4 Care range is available in different forms: cream, gauze and gel.

The device is intended for covering skin irritations and lesions, including acute and chronic wounds such as abrasions, tissue donor sites, post-operative incisions, first- and second-degree burns, vascular and metabolic ulcers and pressure sores. Its function is to maintain a moist environment and protect the affected area from abrasion, friction and drying out, reducing the risk of further mechanical stress.

Composition and how to use

Main component: hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.2%. Other components include 70% sorbitol solution, sodium dehydroacetate, methyl and propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, carbomer 980, sodium hydroxide and purified water. Before application, wounds or ulcers must be cleaned and disinfected. Spread a thin layer of product over the surface of the lesion two or three times a day, for no more than 30 consecutive days, then cover the area with sterile gauze and bandage.

Warnings

Do not use in case of established hypersensitivity to one or more components, if the pack is damaged or after the expiry date. Avoid direct contact between the container and the wound and discard the product 2 months after first opening. Each pack must be used by one patient only, to reduce the risk of cross-infection. During pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children, consult a doctor before use. Local reactions such as rash at the application site, itching, burning, irritation, dryness, erythema or dermatitis may occasionally occur. Keep out of the reach of children.
