Amflee Combo 1 Pipette Dogs 2-10 Kg

Amflee Combo 67 mg/60.3 mg is a veterinary medicine in spot-on solution for small dogs (2-10 kg). Each 0.67 ml pipette combines two active substances: fipronil 67 mg, with insecticidal and acaricidal action, and S-methoprene 60.3 mg, which acts on the immature stages of the parasite.

Indications

It is indicated for the treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides spp.), alone or associated with ticks and/or chewing lice (Trichodectes canis). Insecticidal efficacy against new infestations with adult fleas persists for up to 8 weeks, while the ovicidal and larvicidal action limits flea multiplication for eight weeks after application, reducing the risk of environmental reinfestation. Against ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus) the acaricidal activity persists for up to 4 weeks. It can form part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD), when diagnosed by a veterinary surgeon.

Warnings

Do not use in puppies under 8 weeks of age and/or weighing less than 2 kg, in sick or convalescent animals, or in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or excipients. The product is specific to dogs: do not use in cats and ferrets due to the risk of overdose, and never in rabbits, in which it can cause serious adverse reactions. In safety studies, no adverse events were observed in 8-week-old puppies, growing dogs and dogs of about 2 kg treated with up to five times the recommended dose.
