Contour Next Blood Glucose Meter

The Contour Next blood glucose meter is a medical device dedicated to blood sugar monitoring in the day-to-day management of diabetes. The automatic coding system eliminates manual calibration and simplifies use, making testing accessible even to those new to self-monitoring.

Technical features

The result is available in just 5 seconds and requires a blood sample of only 0.6 mcL, for fast and minimally invasive testing. The measuring range is 10 to 600 mg/dL and there is no significant haematocrit interference in the 0-70% range, so readings remain reliable under different physiological conditions.

Functions and connectivity

The internal memory stores up to 800 results with date and time, while the dedicated app can store up to 1,000. The device calculates blood glucose averages over 7, 14, 30 and 90 days, handles pre- and post-meal markers and lets you personalise blood glucose targets. The smartLIGHT function visually indicates whether the reading is in target, above or below target, while Bluetooth and USB connections allow linking to PCs and mobile devices for storing and sharing data.
