Sofarmapiu' Hot Cold Gel Pack

The Sofarmapiù hot-cold gel pack is a reusable pack for flexible thermal therapy: the same pack can be used for both cold and hot treatment, depending on how it is prepared. Suitable for adults, it must always be placed in its cover or wrapped in a cloth.

When to use it

• Cold: bruises, sprains, injuries, hyperthermia and all cases where cold therapy is needed
• Hot: lumbago, stiff neck, rheumatism, hypothermia and all cases where heat application is needed

Directions for use

• Cold use: place in the freezer for at least 2 hours, remove and apply to the affected area
• Hot use: immerse in boiling water for a maximum of 5 minutes and dry, or heat in the microwave for a maximum of 1 minute at 850 watts; then apply

Warnings

• Always place the pack in its cover or wrap it in a cloth to reduce the risk of burns
• Do not swallow the contents, do not break the casing and do not reuse the pack if damaged by holes or cuts
• Do not apply to broken skin. For external use only
• In case of cardiovascular or circulatory disease, diabetes or reduced skin sensitivity (e.g. Raynaud's syndrome), use only after consulting a doctor
• For newborns, children and the elderly, consult a doctor before treatment; if symptoms persist, see a doctor
• Keep out of the reach of children
