Xonrid Topical Gel for Radiation Dermatitis 75 ml

Xonrid by Biokosmes is a 75 ml topical gel for skin affected by redness, stinging, burning and itching due to radiotherapy or other causes. Applied to the area, it forms a protective film, reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and increases hydration, reducing the risk of symptoms appearing and relieving them when present.

Features

• Supports the repair process by restoring physiological hydration levels in damaged skin areas
• Can also be applied to skin folds and creases, with or without minor trauma or abrasions
• With chamomile flower water, sweet almond oil, sodium hyaluronate (0.1%), xanthan gum (1.5%), green tea and grape seed extracts

How to use

Use on clean skin three times a day or as directed by your doctor, with clean hands, massaging until a thin, even layer is obtained. During radiotherapy, apply in the 2-3 days before sessions, after each session and at the end of the cycle. Do not use immediately before a session: wash the area with water only to remove any residue.

Warnings

Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the components. For external use only: do not apply to mucous membranes or in contact with the eyes. Do not use together with other topical products or on severe dermal lesions. If symptoms persist beyond 3 weeks after the end of radiotherapy, stop use and consult your doctor.
