Metabolase Solution for Injection Fatro 500ml

Metabolase by Fatro is a veterinary medicine as a solution for injection based on L-carnitine and amino acids, in the pharmacotherapeutic category of amino acids and derivatives (levocarnitine, combinations). It is indicated in particular as a detoxifying and anti-fatigue agent in states of physical stress and convalescence in cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, dogs and cats.

Composition

Per ml: L-carnitine hydrochloride 6.133 mg (equal to L-carnitine 5 mg), DL-acetylmethionine 20 mg, thioctic acid 0.2 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride 0.15 mg, cyanocobalamin 0.03 mg, L-arginine 2.4 mg, L-ornithine hydrochloride 1.532 mg, L-citrulline 1.2 mg, L-lysine hydrochloride 0.625 mg, glycine 1.5 mg, aspartic acid 1.5 mg, glutamic acid 1.5 mg, fructose 50 mg, sorbitol 80 mg; excipients and water for injections q.s.

How to use

Routes of administration: intravenous, subcutaneous, intraperitoneal. The indicated doses should be administered twice a day.

• Cattle, other large ruminants, horses and pigs: 250-500 ml
• Calves, yearlings, foals, adult sheep and goats: 250 ml
• Piglets and growers: 20-40 ml/10 kg b.w., subcutaneous route only
• Lambs and kids: 20-40 ml/10 kg b.w.
• Rabbits and cats: 2-4 ml/kg b.w., subcutaneous route only and at several injection sites
• Dogs: 2-4 ml/kg b.w.

Warnings

Store at room temperature, protected from light and heat. Withdrawal period: meat zero days, milk zero hours. 500 ml bottle.
